Fire service helps 30-year-old
An elderly horse has been rescued in Colyton, East Devon after falling in a ditch.
The 30-year-old needed the help of a specialist animal rescue team from Exmouth after fire crews from the town called on them.
They also needed telehandler from service headquarters at Clyst St. Mary.
A vet arrived shortly before the animal rescue team and they got to work to safely place an animal harness on the horse, which was released from the ditch to be assessed by the vet.
