What a wopper!
A colossal bluefin tuna, weighing roughly the same size as two kitchen fridges, has recently been caught off the Devon coast.
Incredibly, the huge fish was reeled in using only a rod and line by a Plymouth-based fishing charter named Pecheo Grande earlier this month.
The rare and endangered species is making a comeback in the area, with the Devon Wildlife Trust attributing this to strict fishery management and quotas implemented in the early 2000s, as well as a boom in prey like mackerel and herring.
This impressive catch, that's 210 kilograms, is the biggest reported UK catch of a bluefin tuna this year, solidifying its place in the record books.
It's made a group fisherman very happy and £2,000 richer after being sold off at Brixham Fish Market.
