Safe and cash stolen
An Ilfracombe business has been broken into twice in three days.
A safe and cash were stolen in the burglaries in Slade Road in the town; the first between 8 p.m. on Friday 22 January and 6.55 a.m. the following morning when an untidy search was carried out.
The second was in the early hours of Sunday 24 January when the safe containing paperwork and a quantity of cash was stolen.
Police are seeking three suspects seen approaching the building with a wheelbarrow and sledgehammer at around 4.50 a.m. They were wearing hoodies, glasses, face masks and black gloves. Some items have been recovered in the local area. Among them is property which does not belong to the victim.
Officers would like to hear form anyone who has been subject to a similar break in over the weekend.
