A lethal trap that kills birds of prey has been found near Dunkerswell in East Devon.
The traps which damage the animals legs were banned more than a hundred years ago.
Police were tipped off and found the trap on farmland, but it had been removed by the following morning.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds is putting up a thousand pounds' reward for anyone with information that leads to a conviction of those responsible.
Those with information can call police on 101.
