Improvements promised for Topsham and Pinhoe libraries

Improvements are in the pipeline for two of Exeter's smaller libraries.

After a few years when library services have been affected by public spending cuts, the county council plans to modernise the branches in Pinhoe and Topsham.

Pinhoe residents will be asked what new facilities they'd like to see, in an open meeting at the library next month.

The council also plans to work with a local organisation in Topsham, the Estuary League of Friends, which wants to replace the ageing library there with a new building incorporating a community 'hub'.
