He's found in Exeter in early hours
A man is critically ill after being found injured near the centre of Exeter in the early hours of Tuesday.
He was found with serious head injuries in New North Road, Exeter, around 3.20 a.m.
Police were called to the scene, near an Esso garage, by the ambulance service.
Investigations are now underway into how he came to be hurt.
The injured man, in his 40s, was taken to Derriford in Plymouth where he is in a stable condition.
