Two men have been found guilty of hatching a plot to rob and kill Devon soul star Joss Stone. Kevin Liverpool has been sentenced to life imprisonment and will serve a minimum of 10 years and 8 months. The sentencing of Junior Bradshaw has been adjourned
Jurors at Exeter Crown Court returned unanimous guilty verdicts after only four hours of deliberations.
The trial at Exeter Crown Court heard that they both harboured deep hatred for the singer, and that police found weapons, balaclavas and other incriminating material in the car they were driving when arrested near Cullompton, not far from the singer's home.
Police have thanked the members of the public who reported their suspicious behaviour, and Joss Stone herself and her family for helping with the investigation.
