Two men from Manchester convicted of plotting to rob and kill the mid-Devon based singer Joss Stone have won appeals against the length of their jail sentences.
Kevin Liverpool and Junior Bradshaw were found guilty of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to rob following a three-week trial at Exeter Crown Court last year.
The court heard they drove down from Manchester with a collection of weapons including a sword, three knives and two hammers... along with masks and gloves.
They were arrested nearby when local residents became suspicious.
Liverpool was given a minimum term of 10 years and 8 months - on appeal that's been reduced to six and a half years.
