A protest group have failed in their legal bid to try and prevent 400 new homes being built in Axminster.
The Save Our Parkland group claimed East Devon District Council had been wrong to grant planning permission for the development at Cloakham Lawns... because their Local Plan which includes future housing provision was still being drawn up.
But a high court judge dismissed the challenge... meaning the developers can proceed with their plans.
The protesters are seeking leave to appeal against the judgement.
