The Books on Prescription scheme in Devon's libraries has now been extended to include dementia.
Under the scheme, libraries stock self-help books on common mental health conditions, recommended by both sufferers and health experts.
A range of books on dementia is now available in every public library, in addition to those on other conditions including anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
