The RNLI is reminding seagoers about the importance of safety equipment, after it emerged that a man who died yesterday when his boat capsized off North Devon wasn't wearing a lifejacket.
Another man on board was taken to hospital after the accident off Bideford Bar.
Exmouth RNLI say it's vital to have AND use the right safety equipment.
And they're urging anyone who thinks they're getting into difficulty to call for help immediately.. even if it may turn out to be a false alarm.
