Parts of Exmouth were plunged into darkness for more than an hour last night.
More than a thousand people lost their supplies after a fault in a high voltage cable. Places affected included the Littleham and Avenues areas. Nine hundred and fifty seven people had their power restored after an hour...a further fifty are being supplied by generators...Western Power engineers are expected to reconnect them to the grid later today.
