Ros Partridge, 80, from Holcombe, near Dawlish is jumping out of a plane on Friday 1st June.
She's raising money for the new Dawlish Christian Fellowship building, which she and husband John have been working on for years. 10% of her sponsorship will also go to Rowcroft Hospice who helped care for John at home before he died of cancer last August.
So far she's raised £1,000 for the causes.
Ros says she always does something special to mark her big birthdays. Turning 80 and losing husband John in the same year, made her want to do something special.
Her jump takes place at Dunkeswell Airfield on Friday 1st June.
