Local communities are to benefit from a round of lottery grants announced today. Several organisations have successfully applied for grants from the Awards for All scheme.
Exeter's Stoke Hill Infants and Nursery school is getting 10 thousand pounds for IT equipment, enabling it to offer mobile app training for local families.
In Tiverton, Wilcombe primary school will also receive 10 thousand to fund workshops for disadvantaged families.
Newton St Cyres village hall will get nearly 6 thousand to pay for a new heating syste - and in Dawlish, a group who want to create a talking newspaper for people with sight problems will receive 8 thousand pounds.
