Cockpoo falls from cliff
A dog is safe after a dramatic cliff rescue near Brixham.
The adventurous cockapoo got separated from its owner and tumbled over the edge at Scabbacombe Beach yesterday afternoon (7 December).
Brixham Coastguard and a drone team were called in for the complex recovery.
Rescuers eventually found the lucky dog getting soaked by the waves, but still wagging its tail!
After a huge 180-metre haul back up the cliff, the dog was reunited with its owner and is doing well, despite needing a few stitches.
Owners are being reminded to keep their pets on leads, especially when walking along high cliff paths.
The drop is roughly the height of 40 double-decker buses.
