Malaysian Police officers have been in Devon this week learning how the High Tech Crime Unit examines computers for child abuse images.
Devon and Cornwall Police was one of the first forces in the country to introduce special software called Triage (Tree-arge) which scans computers for suspect files.
It can find a digital trail even if someone's tried to hide material.
Malaysian police recently bought the technology and wanted to see it in action.
