A 38-year-old man from Paignton remains in custody after being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Emergency services were called to Queen Elizabeth Drive in the town at 4.55pm yesterday (Monday 6th May) after a man fell from a first floor window.
The 26-year-old sustained a serious spinal injury, as well as foot, leg and facial injuries. He's in a serious but stable condition in Torbay Hospital.
