31-year-old in custody
A man has been charged in connection with a serious assault on a women at a residential property in Bideford.
Police were called at around 6pm on Wednesday 22 July in the Stucley Road area following reports that a woman had been stabbed.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, has multiple injuries to her arm and head. She's now been discharged from hospital.
Nathan Stewart, aged 31 and from Bideford, has been from charged with grievous bodily hard with intent, possession of a bladed article and two counts of criminal damage. He has been remanded in custody to appear before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Friday 24 July.
