A 26 year old man from Honiton's been charged with drink driving after crashing into the wall of a church in Ottery.
Police were called in the early hours of Sunday morning (17th November) to reports a vehicle had hit St Anthony's Catholic Church on Mill Street.
In a statement they said: "26-year-old Haydn Banfield, from The Signals, Honiton, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol above limit. He is due to appear at Exeter Magistrates Court on Tuesday 26 November."
