Attack was in Rougemont Gardens
A man has been charged with a rape in a central Exeter park at the weekend.
Police were called to reports of a serious sexual assault against a man in Rougemont Gardens in the early hours of Saturday 23 October.
They arrested a suspect in the city centre shortly after.
Ahmed Al-Shamri, 38, of Holland Road, Exeter appeared before Exeter Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
