It follows the incident on Sidwell Street
A man has been charged with murder after another man died following an altercation in Exeter at the weekend.
Police were called to Sidwell Street at around 8.10pm on Saturday 28 January where a man was found with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital where he later died. He's since been identified as 45-year-old Stephen Cook.
Following his death, 19-year-old Brian Jewell, of no fixed abode, Exeter, has been charged with murder.
He remains in police custody and is due before Exeter Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 31 January.
