Police searching for next of kin
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A30.
The incident happened at around 7am on the eastbound carriageway near the Turks Head junction for Honiton on Thursday 12 January and involved a white panel van, a blue and white heavy goods vehicle and a pedestrian.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed in both directions to allow for a forensic examination to take place. It was reopened at around 5.30pm
Police are continuing their enquiries to contact the man's next of kin.
Officers from the roads policing team are appealing for anyone who may have seen a male in dark clothing or may have dashcam or CCTV footage to come forwards.
