Tragedy near airport
A man in his sixties has died in an incident on an A30 sliproad on Wednesday lunchtime.
He became trapped under a light goods vehicle on the road near Exeter Airport, sustaining significant injuries. Emergency services were unable to save him and he died at the scene.
The Health and Safety Executive have been informed of the incident.
Police are asking for witnesses to the collision around 12.25pm on the westbound slip road onto the A30 towards the city on 28 July to come forward, quoting log 394 of 28 July.
