Police appeal for information
A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire which caused a bungalow roof to collapse in Totnes early today.
Five fire crews were sent to the house in Bridgwater Gardens around 5.45am.
A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and remains in police custody. Crews said the bungalow next door also had smoke in its loft space.
