A car boot sale organiser is looking for a site in Exeter to start up a new one - for people who used to trade at the Matford site.
The weekly sales in Marsh Barton have been cancelled until January.
And while a new car boot sale is starting up at Exeter racecourse this Sunday, it's run by a different organiser and isn't a transfer of the Matford market.
Mark McLoughlin traded at Matford for 12 years and wants to find a new temporary site.
He's looking for a hard-standing area outside the Exeter city boundary, three to four acres in size, with good vehicle access.
