Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Plymouth.
Officers were called just after 3:30am on Thursday 5 January to the Hawkinge Gardens area of Ernesettle following reports a man had been stabbed in the street.
The victim, a man in his 30's, was taken to hospital with serious but not life-theatrening injuries.
A 30-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grevious bodily harm. It's believed the suspect and the victim know each other.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call 101 quoting reference 50230002811. Police would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage.
