Police are seeking witnesses after a man was pushed into the canal in Exeter in an unprovoked attack.
The incident happened at Clapper Brook Lane East Swing Bridge, Alphington, around 3.10pm on Tuesday 6 June.
The man, in his 50s, was approached from behind by a group and then shoved into the water. Fortunately he was able to swim and did not sustain any injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses and asking anyone with information to contact 101@dc.police.uk or telephone 101, quoting crime reference CR/043554/20.
