It's been confirmed that a man who was pulled from the river at Exeter Quay yesterday has died in hospital.
A major search and rescue operation involving firefighters from Exeter, Exmouth and Ottery St Mary, and the police helicopter, was launched yesterday afternoon.
The 42 year old, who was from Exeter, was taken to hospital but pronounced dead there.
