A man remains in hospital with injuries described as 'potentially life-threatening' following an attack at Newton Abbot's Channings Wood prison.
Police were called at around 2pm on Tuesday [28 January] and paramedics treated the man - in his 30s - before he was taken to hospital.
Two men in their 20s were detained following the incident, and have since been released under investigation back into the prison.
Channings Wood is a Category C men's prison, which opened in 1974.
