The 3 vehicle collision happened near Honiton on Thursday afternoon.
The 36-year old driver of a VW camper van died at the scene and his daughter was taken to the RD&E with minor injuries.
The driver of the Audi, a 56-year-old female from Budleigh Salterton, and the driver of the DAF Lorry, a 54-year-old male from the Bristol area, were uninjured.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
