Devon man dies at holiday park event
A Devon man will appear in court this morning charged with manslaughter after a motorbike enthusiast died at a ‘mod’ scooter rally over the weekend.
David Coxon - known as Chewie - who was in his thirties - lost his life at a holiday park near Poole in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He was part of Devon’s Cyder Commando Scooter Club, whose members joined other scooter fans from across the south west at the event.
A 41-year-old man from Torquay was arrested at the rally.
