Exmouth will soon have more affordable homes - thanks to an agreement with the developer who built the Spinnakers apartments on the marina.
As part of the process of gaining planning approval, the company pledged to provide some social housing units.
Eighteen one and two-bedroom flats will be built on a site in Fore Street and managed by the housing organisation Devon Home Choice.
People registered with them will be able to bid for a tenancy, with Exmouth residents being given priority.
