Teignbridge council offices raided
It's the kind of swag that's hard to get rid of. A mayor's chain and pendant's been stolen in a burglary at the offices of Teignbridge District Council in Newton Abbot.
If you've been offered them, police want to know.
The items pictured), together with jewellery worth several thousand pounds, were stolen from display cabinets during the break-in in Forde Road on the Brunel Road Industrial Estate between 6 p.m. on Wednesday 16 and 7.30 a.m. on Thursday 17 September.
Police say the stolen items are unique nature and may be difficult to sell on. They anyone who knows of the whereabouts of the items, or has been offered them, to call 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime reference CR/078140/20.
