People concerned about the future of the Exmouth care home Bystock Court are meeting representatives of its owners later to try and find out more about their plans for the site.
A consultation is currently underway on the future of the home which looks after people with learning disabilities.
Referrals to the home have dropped after a policy change leading to more people being looked after in smaller units, but relatives of Bystock Court residents don't think that would be suitable for them.
A group of stakeholders who've been looking at alternative models of support for residents are meeting the owner of the land and building, Devon Sheltered Homes Trust, who employ the staff at Bystock Court.
