Town councillors in Ottery St Mary will today discuss what should be done about the wild beavers living on the river Otter.
They'll decide whether to back a local campaign supported by the Devon Wildlife Trust, for the beavers to remain in the wild if they're not diseased.
DEFRA wants to put them into captivity.
