More and more people in Exeter are turning to food banks and soup kitchens as austerity cuts and job losses hit their incomes.
And one Exeter charity ... which distributes unwanted food from shops to organisations helping homeless and low-income people .. is appealing for more suppliers, to help it meet the demand.
The city's branch of the Devon and Cornwall Food Association is asking shop, bakery, or other food supplier which often has to throw away unsold stock to get in touch.
