Police investigating an accident on the M5 near Tiverton on Friday have released further details.
Four people travelling in a Peugeot 206 were taken to hospital after it came off the southbound slip road at Junction 27 and overturned in a ditch.
One of the casualties is a six-year-old child who suffered a serious head injury.
Police now say another vehicle was involved - an articulated lorry which collided with the car.
They'd like to hear from anyone who witnessed the accident which happened at about 12.45pm.
