Plans have been unveiled to build more accommodation to help Exeter's homeless.
The Exeter Homes Trust is planning a nine million pound redevelopment of the Fairpark Almshouses in St Leonard's.
The site on Fairpark Road currently has three ninety year old buildings, which contain twelve one bedroom flats. However they want to create thirty-one flats with one or two bedrooms.
It will be partly funded by Homes England.
The charity says they're inundated with requests for flats from people in challenging circumstances - and creating the extra eighteen apartments will help.
