Latest figures from Exeter Citizens advice bureau show a large increase in the number of people seeking help with mortgage arrears.
It's up by a hundred and 10 per cent compared with the same period last year.
There's also been a large rise - of more than a hundred and 66 per cent - in inquiries relating to owner-occupier properties.
