The owner of Exeter's new waste to energy plant in Marsh Barton are taking steps to reduce the noise it's making - after complaints from nearby residents.
The sound is being caused by an operation to clean the plant before it goes live, which involves blowing steam through the pipework.
Viridor say there will be some noise this morning, prior to a single 'steam blow' in the mid-afternoon.
There'll be another one tomorrow afternoon .. and then the noise will cease until another series of steam blows next week
