The MP for Exeter says Government plans to increase the amount of social housing could end up removing people on low incomes from their local communities.
Local authorities will be able to borrow more money to build more homes... but they'll have to show they've sold off their more expensive social housing.
The replacement homes could also be built outside that area.
Ben Bradshaw says that could mean former council tenants are no longer able to live anywhere which tends to have high property prices.
