The Labour MP for Exeter is starting a summer of campaigning after becoming one of five candidates for the role of deputy party leader.
Ben Bradshaw attracted the necessary number of nominations at the last minute on Wednesday after another candidate pulled out.
The nearest hustings event was going to be in Swindon but Mr Bradshaw will now be pressing for one to be held in Exeter.
