The Conservative MP for East Devon has come under fire for making jokes about benefit claimants, during a fundraising dinner for his party.
Hugo Swire was secretly filmed for Channel Four's Dispatches programme while acting as auctioneer at the event last month.
While inviting a bid of 60 thousand pounds, he joked that if the bidder was on benefits he could afford it.
