Man dies a week after being injured
A man is to appear in court charged with murder following an incident in Moretonhampstead earlier this month.
Emergency services attending a property in Queen's Road in the Dartmoor village on Wednesday 9 August found a man in his forties with serious injuries.
He was taken to Torbay Hospital where his condition deteriorated, and he was transferred to Derriford Hospital.
He died there the following week.
Alan Perrin, 56, of no fixed abode, from Moretonhampstead will appear at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today.
