Police have named the woman found dead in a car in east Devon last week as Hilda Mary Oakfield, who was 71 years old.
Her body was discovered at Fenny Bridges on Wednesday.
A 66 year old man, Charles Robert Broom from Honiton, has been charged with murdering her and is due to appear at Exeter Crown Court next week.
