Pensioner dies. Woman arrested
A murder investigation is underway in North Devon after a pensioner was stabbed at a property in Braunton.
Emergency services were called to a report of violence at an address in the town around 2.35 p.m. on Sunday 21 August.
Police and paramedics attended, but a man aged in his seventies was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed.
A 69-year-old woman from the North Devon area has been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody.
Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
