Call for help with identification
The identity of a middle-age man who has died in hospital in Bideford remains a mystery after he was found injured near the town last week - and police are asking for help from anyone who may have known him.
They were called by the ambulance service after he was found at what's been described as "a rural address" on Wednesday afternoon [19 May], but police haven't said exactly where.
He was taken to hospital where he later died the following day.
His death isn't being treated as suspicious at this time.
The man was white, aged in his 40s or 50s, 5ft 7in tall, of average build, with grey facial hair and short, scruffy brown/grey hair.
Anyone with information which could help identify him is asked to call police on 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting log 508 of 19 May.
