A centre of excellence for maths is to be set up in Exeter.
The specialist Free School will be run by Exeter College and the university, and will cater for a hundred and twenty students aged 16 to 19.
There'll be places for a fifth of them to board, meaning pupils from across the region can attend.
The school has been awarded a development grant and is due to open in September next year.
