A new independent pizza joint could be set to open in Exeter city centre,

Posh Pizzas Exeter has applied to the city council for a license to sell alcohol and play music at 93-94 Fore Street.

The building was occupied by bridal shop Prudence Gowns until last month. The licence application by Posh Pizza Exeter, a company formed on Monday 17 August by Charles William Horner and Linda Clare Horner, asks for permission to play recorded music and to sell alcohol from 9am to 11pm, Mondays to Wednesdays, 9am to 1am, Thursdays to Saturdays, and 10am to Sundays. Late night refreshment would be offered from Thursdays to Saturdays, between 11pm and 1am.

Anyone who wants to object to the licence must do so by email to licensing.team@exeter.gov.uk by September 15.

A change of use planning application would also need to be submitted and approved by Exeter City Council before they can open, as the existing use of the site is for retail.
