A new village shop and post office opens in Ide today - thanks to the work and fund-raising of local residents.
They had to find new premises for the shop because the old one was in a temporary building in the village car park - and the council wanted the parking spaces back.
Local people raised 175 thousand pounds to turn an old warehouse into a shop - with much of the decoration and shopfitting done by volunteers.
